Ron Johanson
Public Safety Club Advisor & LPC Fire Coordinator

Mr. Johansen has been with Las Positas college for over 20 years. Currently he is employed as a Firefighter/Paramedic for the San Francisco Fire Department. At Las Positas he teaches all the classes in Fire Science Technology, structures nearly all curricullum, and guides the Las Positas Public Safety Clubs in crating evernts on campus. His dedication to students and his selflessness towards the LPC Fire program has shone through in countless circumstances. George Freelen
Instructor / PE FSC Class Captain

An alumni of Ron Johansen's fire program, and living testimony to what great things Las Positas Fire can do for you. George Freelen is currently and instructor within our program, assisting in instruction of FST 50, and various other FST classes. His main focus is preparing students physically for their future of Firefighting. He is currently employed as a Firefighter with Oakland Fire Department.
